Projects & work

One practice.
12 documented threads.

Major public projects remain at the center. The systems, utilities, ports, and research beneath them are recorded here as part of the same body of work.

Sadistry Studios is currently one independent developer. Status describes present development maturity and activity—not proximity to release. No release dates are currently announced or promised.

Systems & prototypes

Working machinery beneath the projects.

01

World-generation / exploration system

MC² Structure Indexer / Controller

Part of Minecraft²

A substantial semantic structure prototype indexing definitions, placement, biome and dimension evidence, structure families, rarity opportunities, policy compilation, and pacing simulations. The production Controller is not complete.

Prototype
02

Diagnostics / development utility

MC² Runtime Observer

Part of Minecraft²

A functioning lightweight common/server-side observation utility for runtime census, JSON snapshots, lifecycle observation, and targeted manual diagnostics without a required Spark dependency.

Prototype

Research & future work

Defined questions without inflated claims.

Supporting work / development history

Integration, ports, utilities, and research lineage.

01

Client rendering / port work

HMI / Held-Item Presentation Work

Porting, compatibility, and renderer research for modern first-person held-item presentation, including per-quad transforms, offhand alignment, presets, and interaction with Iris, Sodium, and Better Combat. The underlying HMI concept is not claimed as original Sadistry Studios work.

Experimental / port
02

Small client utility

Mine Treasure / JEI Filter

Part of MC² Client Tweaks

An early utility, sxiii_mt_filter, that completed its narrow purpose: hiding technical or internal book entries from normal JEI discovery. Its role now sits within the broader MC² Client Tweaks direction.

Complete / integrated
03

Lifecycle / startup research

Minecraft Startup Bootstrap / Stage A–B

Part of Launcher Project

Minecraft-side and external startup-presentation research into lifecycle milestones, process IPC, handoff, readiness, and ownership. The architectural limits it exposed directly informed the standalone launcher, which is now the primary direction.

04

Internal integration system

MC² Compatibility Layer

Part of Minecraft²

Dedicated internal engineering for recipes, loot tables, advancements, datapack precedence, malformed resources, and cross-mod repairs so independently developed content behaves coherently inside Minecraft².
