About the studio
Negative space
is working space.
Sadistry Studios is an independent one-person creative and development studio spanning software, Minecraft development, interactive systems, music, and visual experimentation.
A studio defined by the work, not one medium.
Everything currently presented under Sadistry Studios—software engineering, Minecraft mod development, systems design, integration work, experimentation, and creative direction—is presently undertaken by a single independent developer.
The studio began publicly around music and production. Its scope now reflects the broader set of things being built. Projects inform one another while retaining their own identities, allowing research in one system to become useful architecture in another.
View the complete work indexDeveloped through Minecraft², not trapped inside it.
Minecraft² is the studio’s primary integration and stress-test environment. Several standalone tools, mods, and research tracks have emerged from problems first encountered there. When an idea can become genuinely general-purpose, the preference is to avoid unnecessary pack coupling.
- Minimal required dependencies
- Capability and runtime detection
- Optional compatibility layers
- Clean extension points for other environments
No promised release dates.
Projects progress according to research, technical feasibility, stability, and completeness. In a one-person studio, priorities can evolve as technical problems are solved or one project produces technology useful to another. Status labels describe what exists and what is being worked on; they are not release schedules.
